September, 2011 Five year federal Healthy Marriage grant ends Sep 29; evidence of being awarded new federal grant is found on Sep 30 and later confirmed. $798,380 per year grant for up to 3 years includes relationship, marriage, fatherhood, case management, child support, workforce development components. October, 2011 Second Annual "Not So" Newlywed Game at The State Theatre with 165 in attendance and 2nd Honeymoon Cruise won by Nick and Melissa Fowler of South Charleston. Other contestant couples were David and Becky Smiddy, Alan and Peggy Ault, Brad and Angela Greene.
