• February, 2006 Dream Date contest with 17 entries; won by Jim and Betty Yoakem; name/affiliation changed; new logo developed
• March, 2006 Application to Collaboration grant for Ohio Strengthening Families Initiative; signed lease to become tenant at 616 Building - moving in May
• May, 2006 Moved to 616 South Limestone, doubling square footage and acquiring training space; awarded $500,000 Collaboration grant award from Ohio Strengthening Families Initiative along with five other partners; our portion is $205,000
• June, 2006 First PAIRS training in new location; 100 signers of Community Marriage Policy milestone reached; application for Administration for Children and Families (ACF) Healthy Marriage Demonstration Grant
• July, 2006 David Mabry and Thom Hiltibran hired as Marriage Resource Coordinators for Greene and Champaign counties respectively
• August, 2006 Hosting of staff/board/advisory luncheon at training center; Gary and Greg Smalley seminar at Fellowship Christian Church
• September, 2006 Open house celebration of two year CMP signing anniversary; awarded Healthy Marriage Demonstration grant of up to$550,000 per year for five years along with five other partners
• November, 2006 23 Champaign County religious leaders sign Healthy Marriage Policy on November 17 at the Main Branch library in Urbana; speakers included Krista Sisterhen, Director of Governor's Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives, Urbana Police Chief Pat Wagner, and Jim Smith, Champaign County Job and Family Services
